The driver of the bus shot in the Bekaa is still in intensive care. According to Haruts Sheva, he underwent several surgeries. The most difficult one was carried out by the doctors of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery. Initially, it was assumed that shrapnel hit the driver. However, it turned out that a bullet had hit him in the face. "The bullet went right through the bones of the face", — Dr. Salah Nasir explained. Luckily, the main blood vessels in the neck, brain or spine were not damaged, he said. Otherwise, the driver would have died.
