In total, 40 best DJs of electronic music took part in the festival. The music festival itself brought about 3 million euros to the economy of the island.

“The fantastic debut of BEON1X Music Fest came with animatronics and fireworks shows, street art and live performances from legendary DJs. The festival began to build its fan base from day one. We were happy to hear only positive feedback from music fans and showmakers. They highly appreciated our choice of participants, as well as the high level of management on the site. We have witnessed the rise of BEON1X as one of the best electronic music festivals in Europe and neighboring continents”, – noted the BEON1X team.

As part of the festival, the organizers also announced the innovative BEON1X Art Cluster project, conceived as a unique international socio-cultural project from representatives of the international art, business and IT community.

The BEON1X team promises to turn this project into the largest and most influential art cluster in the EU. The BEON1X project will be implemented in stages over five years from 2022 to 2027, during which time the art cluster will become one of the world's largest socio-cultural hubs.

“The first step was the launch of the BEON1X Open Mind Music Fest, which we think got off to a very successful start. The next step will be the preparation of the base and infrastructure of the future cluster. In the meantime, we will begin the reconstruction of the old winery in Limassol – it will be turned into an art gallery and public space. And by the end of this year, we will begin engineering and technical work to implement a future environmental project to restore the coastline of the island – landscaping, strengthening the coastline, stopping soil erosion, – says Tata Andrews, BEON1X Art Cluster Project Manager.

The BEON1X Art Cluster is expected to include the following facilities and events:

Open Mind Music Festival;
Art residence;
Event space;
Laboratories;
Numerous eco-projects and green parks in different parts of Cyprus;
Transformation of urban spaces;
Coworking spaces and winter residences, numerous development projects and many other initiatives.
The cluster was designed by renowned international architects Bjarke Ingels Group.

Among other things, there are a number of initiatives – reforestation in areas devastated by forest fires, and creating a new sustainable culture in Cyprus.

that during the festival they disposed of 1325 bags of general waste and 647 bags of recycled garbage without causing the slightest harm to the beautiful nature of the island.

Next year's BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival will be held from August 24 to 27, and tickets are already available by appointment!
