Israel's Defense Minister and leader of the Mahane Mamlahti political entity; Benny Gantz gave an interview to the Al-Sharq al-Awast newspaper.
Gantz presented his views on resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to the Arab world.
Gantz said that Israel will “retain control over the strategically important areas of the Jordan Valley”. He also said that “Jerusalem will remain one.” Despite this, somehow “there will be a place for the Palestinian capital” in it.
Gantz said that the creation of a political state in the “borders of the year 67 will not be”, but “possible territorial exchanges with the Palestinians”.
