Prime Minister Naftali Bennett commented on a Hamas-published video of Israeli captive Hisham al-Sayed on a ventilator. "Distribution of a video with a sick person — this is a disgusting and desperate act. The State of Israel holds Hamas responsible for the health of the captured civilians,” he said. Bennett, like MIDAir chief Lapid, added that Hamas was holding the bodies of two fallen IDF soldiers, Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul. "Hisham al-Sayed— not a soldier, but a mentally ill Israeli citizen who crossed the Gaza border. Hamas is postponing any possibility of a prisoner exchange. Hamas' actions are proof that it is a cynical and criminal terrorist organization,” — he emphasized. Bennett added that the State of Israel will continue its efforts to return fallen soldiers and prisoners with all determination.
