Bennett on journalist's death: PA doesn't want joint investigation

The leadership of the Palestinian Authority denies any possibility of a joint investigation into the murder of an Al-Jazeera journalist in Jenin. This statement was made by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Today, May 12, he called a meeting on the creation of the National Civil Guard, during which he mentioned the death of a journalist. “I would like to briefly address the investigation into the death of an Al-Jazeera journalist. I reaffirm my expectation of open, transparent cooperation, and I also expect that the Palestinian Authority will not take any steps to disrupt the investigation or denigrate the investigation process,” he said.
