Ben & Jerry's will force new employees to watch videos about Israel and the Palestinians

All new hires from ice cream maker Ben & Jerry's should watch a series of four lectures that talk about the Arab-Israeli conflict.

One of the lectures is led by Omar Shakir of Human Rights Watch, who was expelled from Israel for supporting the boycott of Israel.

Jewish Insider published part of Shakir's lecture. The video was allegedly received from one of the employees of the company who watched it. In the video, Shakir reportedly accuses Israel of a policy aimed at expelling Palestinians from their homes.

“If you look at the recent escalation that happened in May 2021, it started because Palestinians from their homes in occupied East Jerusalem. This policy also applies to Gaza. And our study of Israel's policies over the past 16 years shows that it has sought [and] pursued a written policy of separating Gaza from the West Bank,” Shakir says.
