Belgium plans to extend the life of three nuclear reactors…
Prime Minister Alexander de Croo asked Belgian nuclear authorities and plant operator French energy giant Engie to come up with a plan delaying their shutdown by at least a year.
Belgium plans to extend the life of three nuclear reactors – Doel 1, Doel No. 2 and Tiange No. 1, which were to be shut down in 2025 for at least one more winter. Doel 4 and Tiange 3 – for ten years.
