Belgium introduces mandatory quarantine for carriers of monkeypox

The Belgian authorities have decided to introduce a mandatory 21-day quarantine for anyone confirmed to be infected with monkeypox. Politico reports. So far, four cases of infection have been confirmed in the country. Meanwhile, those in contact with the infected, such as roommates or partners, are not required to quarantine, but should monitor for symptoms.
