Beilinson tragedy: Patient dies during cardiac catheterization

On Wednesday, December 7, at Beilinson Hospital A 78-year-old patient died during cardiac catheterization. According to preliminary data, the X-ray machine broke down during the procedure. Medics tried to resuscitate the patient, but to no avail. A special commission will be created to investigate the incident with the faulty device. The Ministry of Health called for the abolition of all such procedures in the hospital until the end of the investigation.
