The BBC did not cover the opening of the 2022 World Cup and focused on corruption in Qatar

British national broadcaster BBC is not broadcasting the flashy World Cup opening ceremony in Qatar, but instead is broadcasting a story about corruption and a bad record for human rights in the host country.< br />
The ceremony could be viewed on the BBC website, but is instead televised as an investigation into the corruption behind Qatar's filing process, the exploitation of migrant workers who built stadiums, and the lack of respect for gay rights, women and freedom words in Qatar, which lives by conservative Muslim laws.
