Bayern player faces criticism for selling his horse's sperm

Bayern footballer Thomas Müller has been criticized by animal rights activists for selling the semen of his horse named D'Avi.

According to Sport 1, his stable Gut Wettlkam announced the sale of frozen biological material.

Before the mating season, the horse was injured, because of which it was decided to sell his sperm. Initially, the declared price per liter was two thousand euros, but later the cost of the material dropped to 200 euros.

PETA was outraged by this situation. The footballer was accused of cruelty to animals.

“It's cruel that the so-called horse lovers force the animals in their care to have unnatural sex in order to get as much profit from them as possible”, — outraged representative of the organization Yana Hoger.
