Bar-Lev: culture needs to be changed to fight crime in Arab society

Public Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev commented on recent killings and shootings in Arab society, including yesterday's killings of journalist Nidal Agbaria in Umm al-Fahm and Manar Hajjaj and her daughter Hadera in Lod.

“The murders that the police are currently investigating, unfortunately, once again prove that the fight against crime in Arab society is very difficult and requires a long period of aggressive and determined police activity and law enforcement,” Bar-Lev wrote on his Twitter account.

The Minister added that “this process goes hand in hand with major investments, including in education, social security and employment, as well as with a change in cultural perception, since boron Dealing with violence in Arab society is not just about preventing and investigating crime.”
