 Bar-Lev responded to the demand to prevent female soldiers from being near terrorists

Israeli Homeland Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev has rejected Defense Minister Benny Gantz's request to ban the practice of placing female IDF soldiers in prison wings where terrorists serve their sentences.

This is reported by the Jerusalem Post.

Earlier, Gantz sent a letter to Omer Bar-Lev demanding that conscripts not be allowed into the wings of prisons where terrorists are being held until the allegations of rape, which one of the servicemen.

To this, Bar-Lev replied: “SHABAS is working to ensure that such cases do not recur, and if they recur, they will uncompromisingly deal with them.”
