Ban on family visits to Hamas prisoners extended

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir extended the order prohibiting relatives of Hamas terrorists from visiting Israeli prisons.

The order was originally signed by Gilad Erdan during his tenure as minister of internal security to pressure Hamas to release Israelis held by terrorists.
Explaining his decision, Ben- Gvir emphasized: “I am convinced that the reasons preventing such visits are still valid.”
