Russian vaccine against coronavirus “Sputnik V” recognized by the Australian regulator. The Therapeutic Goods Administratioin (TGA) of Australia said that travelers who are vaccinated with the Sputnik V two-component vaccine (Gamaleya Institute, Russian Federation) will receive the status of vaccinated for entry into the country.

It is reported that the TGA received additional information about the protective functions of the vaccine and its ability to reduce the likelihood of the spread of coronavirus.

New studies have found that two doses of “Sputnik V” give the effectiveness of protection against COVID from possible hospitalization at the level of 89%, and from the probability of death – by 98-100%.
