Saudi television network Al Arabiya reported on an attack carried out on the Iraq-Syria border against pro-Iranian militias.
The media and army in Syria did not comment on the attack, but, according to unofficial sources linked to Iran, the attack targeted fuel trucks bound for Lebanon. According to the same report, there are casualties in the attack, and it is currently unclear who is behind it.
At least ten people were killed in an air strike on a convoy carrying fuel to Syria while crossing the Syrian Iraqi border. This was reported by the AP news agency.
According to the military, the attack was carried out on a convoy of about 15 trucks crossing the Iraqi-Syrian border near Al-Qaim. The US military said they had nothing to do with this incident.
