Assassin of Corporal Dvir Sorek sentenced

On Tuesday, May 31, a court sentenced Hamas terrorist cell commander Ahmad al-Atzafra to life imprisonment and another 25 years in prison for the murder of IDF Corporal Dvir Sorek on August 8, 2019 . He is also required to pay Sorek's family 1.5 million shekels. Recall that in October 2019, the prosecutor's office charged Al-Atzafra and four other Palestinians in connection with the murder.
