A 12-year-old boy who was seriously injured in an arson attack on a cell phone store in the city of Hura in the Negev in May died of his injuries in Wednesday evening.

About two weeks ago, three members of the teenager's family were charged with setting fire to the store.

It was previously reported that 12-year-old Issa Abu Alkayan went to a cell phone store to fix his smartphone and ended up there at the time of the arson.

Those who set fire to the store told the boy's father that they knew the baby was inside.
