Arrest extended for soldier suspected of sex crimes

On Sunday, December 4, the arrest of an IDF soldier arrested about two weeks ago, suspected of committing online sex crimes against dozens of minors aged 9 to 12, was extended. According to investigators, for several months the serviceman contacted minors through various applications. During the correspondence, he asked the children to commit sexual acts on themselves and send him photos and videos. The suspect was a 19-year-old soldier from Holon. The detention period has been extended until next Thursday.
