The Argentinean national football team became the world champion by winning the World Cup, which was held in Qatar.

The game was quite tense. The scoring was opened by Lionel Messi, who scored the first goal against France in the 23rd minute. Angel Di Maria put Argentina in the lead with a second goal.

French international Kylian Mbappe turned the game around with two goals in the 80th and 81st minutes.

The main time was not enough for the teams, it was decided to hold two more extra-times. In the first of them, Messi scored again and scored a goal against France in the 108th minute. However, Mbappe “did not sleep” and equalized in the 118th minute from a penalty.

Regular and extra time ended in a draw – 3:3. The shoot-out has begun.

Argentine players, including the great Messi, scored four goals in the shoot-out. The French were less fortunate – only two players scored goals: Kylian Mbappe and Randal Colo Muani.

Thanks to a successful penalty shoot-out, the Argentina national team became the 2022 FIFA World Cup Champion.
