Arava residents protest after road accident

On the evening of May 28, residents of Arava went to protest after people, including children, died in an accident. Maariv reports. Residents demand widening of the road and chant slogans against the Israeli government and “its incompetence for decades.” “We regret not transferring the critical budget for the urgent expansion of road 90 from the Arava junction to the entrances to Eilat,” said the head of the regional council, Meir Tzur.
