Apple has announced the expansion of its center, which already employs 60 engineers, in the Palestinian Authority city of Rawabi.
Since 2018, Apple operates an R&D center in the Palestinian city of Rawabi, the US tech giant said.
Since then, Apple's Palestinian R&D center has grown to include 60 engineers working alongside Israeli teams in Herzliya and Haifa on tools and products for the development of hardware technologies.
Palestinian-American billionaire Bashar Masri took part in the creation of the Apple center in Rawabi. He is also a board member of ASALTechnologies and is in charge of the Siraj Palestine Fund, which has raised $90 million to invest in the Palestinian Authority.
