Apple has completed the development of a new processor for the iPhone 14

In the near future, it is planned to launch industrial production of new Apple A16 Bionic processors, which will be part of the upcoming iPhone 14 series of smartphones.
Presumably, a limited series of silicon wafers will be released which will produce processors for Apple. The company is trying to reserve TSMC's production capacity ahead of competitors. Industrial production of the A15 Bionic started in May last year. Around the same time, production can be launched this time as well. Previously, TSMC raised prices for chips for Apple based on the 5 nm process technology by 3%. This means an increase in costs of tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars, given the number of processors Apple needs.
