Apple and Google sued
|Krafton, the owner of the rights to the popular video game PUBG: Battlegrounds, is suing Apple and Google for distributing allegedly infringing mobile shooters Free Fire and Free Fire Max .
Krafton claims that Free Fire and Free Fire Max clearly borrow a number of aspects of PUBG, starting with the copyrighted unique aerial drop feature.
Google-owned video hosting YouTube, which refused to remove gameplay videos from Garena Free Fire games, as well as a video from the Chinese movie Biubiubiu, which also found borrowings from PUBG.
