Appeal of the Ministry of Health to Israelis about monkeypox in Israel

In Israel, 121 cases of monkeypox infection among men have already been recorded. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health on July 25. “About 5,000 doses of the vaccine should be delivered to Israel tomorrow. They will be handed over to health insurance companies as soon as possible to start the vaccination campaign. It is expected that about 5,000 more doses of the vaccine will arrive in the future. According to the Ministry of Health, testing has been expanded. "Monkeypox — it is a viral disease that often presents with fever, blistering rash, and swollen lymph nodes. The ministry is urging those who develop symptoms or who have been in close contact with a person suspected of having monkeypox to contact their healthcare provider,” the ministry added. The Ministry of Health urged those infected or those who had contact with the sick person to avoid flights as long as there is a risk of infection.
