In Israel, antigen tests will now be sold in supermarkets.
This is reported by the Jerusalem Post.
According to the ministry health care, this will allow them to reduce the price.
In addition, free tests will be given to kindergarten and elementary school students.
According to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, antigen tests are used in great demand in Israel. The Ministry of Health provided a list of criteria by which a store can sell a test:
- The store must be licensed to sell food and beverages, excluding butchers;
- tests will only be sold in their original packaging;
- tests should be stored away from direct sunlight or any other source of heat;
- room temperature should be between 2 and 25 degrees Celsius.
