According to the Global Times, the maritime development bureau of Qingdao City's Jimo County informed about this.
The Chinese military reported that the object was spotted over the waters of the Rizhao urban area. Local residents were alerted that it was about to be shot down, prompting citizens to take safety precautions.
Those who spot the wreckage were urged to take pictures of the wreckage and hand it over to the appropriate authorities. Whether the object was shot down is unknown.
A previously unidentified flying object was seen in the skies over the US and Canada. According to the Prime Minister of the second country Justin Trudeau, he was shot down on the night of February 12.
