An earthquake hits Crete

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake rocked the Greek islands. According to the Athens Institute of Geodynamics, the earthquake occurred east of Crete at a depth of 9 kilometers.
According to local media reports, the earthquake was felt in Crete and on the islands of Karpathos, Kasos, Rhodes and Santorini.
No casualties or damage was reported.
An hour after the earthquake, another tremor occurred west of Athens at a depth of 16.7 kilometers.
