An asteroid the size of 14 flamingos is hurtling towards Earth

On Wednesday, March 1, asteroid 2023 DJ1 approached the Earth at great speed, the diameter of which is approximately 14 meters.

This is evidenced by data from the Center for the Study of Objects, near-Earth, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories.

The size of the asteroid is equivalent to about 14 flamingos if they were added together. According to scientists, the Earth is not in danger of colliding with this object.

NASA has already estimated its speed. It is specified that it flies at 22,392 km/h, which is more than 18 times faster than the speed of sound.
