A Michigan man who accidentally bought two identical tickets for the same Fantasy 5 lottery draw ended up winning two jackpot, the total prize was $240,338.

A 67-year-old American from Oakland County told MichiganLottery that he bought both tickets for the February 6 draw on the lottery website on different days.

“Every week I buy a Fantasy 5 multi draw ticket with the same set of numbers that I have been playing for four years”,– the player said. “I was leaving town, so I bought a ticket for a few draws to enter the lottery while I was away”.

The man's numbers 04-10-12-20-30 both won in the $120,169 jackpot draw.

“I logged into my lottery account after the draw to check my tickets and I couldn't believe it when I saw the expected prize of $240,338. I couldn't help laughing”,– said the lucky one.

The winner shared his plans for the prize money, saying that part of it will go to his son's education, and he intends to keep the rest.
