Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “National Media Group” Alina Kabaeva (presumably the mother of three of Vladimir Putin's children) owns real estate worth about $120 million through nominees. Among this real estate – a wooden house on the territory of Putin's residence in Valdai, the Proekt publication writes in its investigation.
The 1,200-square-meter house, according to satellite images, began construction in 2020. Construction was completed two years later. As told “Project” a source familiar with the structure of the residence, it was created “especially for Kabaeva”. In 2021, a boat pier was built next to the house, which is located on the banks of the canal, from which you can take a boat to the classic-style park, which occupies a plot of 28 hectares.
Kabaeva's house is located on land owned by businessman Yuri Kovalchuk – 800 meters from the house built in the early 2000s for Vladimir Putin, writes “Proekt”. The official residence of the President of the Russian Federation “Dinner” is located next to the lands of Kovalchuk.
“Project” claims that her children constantly spend time in Kabaeva's house. The publication writes that the former gymnast has five assistants, two of whom are her cousins in order “to deal with the children of the famous gymnast.” Indirect evidence that children are coming to the residence, “Project” calls a large children's playground built there between 2016 and 2020.
An apartment and a country house were bought from one of Kabaeva's assistants near the residence. At the same time, the publication emphasizes that she would not be able to do this with her official income. “Apparently, Kabaeva spends so much time in Valdai that her closest assistant was even bought real estate there”, – concludes “Project”.
Probably Kabaeva and her children – like Putin himself – when traveling to the residence, a special railway line and a guarded station are used. According to the “Project”, it was built in 2019, and the need for construction was officially explained by the “creation of a fire break”. The station has a helipad – According to local residents, Putin flies by helicopter from there to the residence.
“Project” writes that similar secret stations were built near Putin's residences in Sochi and Novo-Ogaryovo, between them the president moves on a special armored train. In Moscow, a special train departs from a closed station, which is located at the Moscow-Kalanchevskaya station. It is served by two special brigades of Russian Railways.
