Airstrikes around Idlib: what is known

Russian aviation launched a series of air strikes on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Idlib on January 2.

This was reported by the Voice of America; citing sources.

The planes attacked several cities and a water intake pumping station. As noted by sources in the Syrian army, the strikes were carried out on the positions of the militants. The water intake station was disabled.

According to some reports, villages and temporary refugee camps were damaged.

According to the Civil Defense Service, one woman and two children, 10 more civilians were injured. No confirmation has been received.
