The PA authorities called on the international community, the US administration and the European Union to link their relations with the Netanyahu government “to the extent that it is committed to international law, decisions regarding international legality, and principles of human rights.”
The PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “with great seriousness” refers to reports in the Israeli media about Netanyahu's “ill-fated agreements with his far-right fascist coalition partners”.
Among other things, Palestinians worry that the coalition agreements “will allow the annexation of Judea and Samaria and the legalization of settler outposts”, and to grant Ben-Gvir a “license to operate and promote the death penalty.”
“The Foreign Office has warned of the dangers of implementing these arrangements in relation to the conflict and the entire region, especially the consequences of a change in the status quo in Jerusalem and its shrines, the main of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque,” the PA said. and actions in international courts and forums.
