 Adidas will fight anti-Semitism

Adidas will partner with the Anti-Defamation League to fight anti-Semitism and hate. The sportswear manufacturer recently announced that it was terminating its contract with anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West. Adidas North America President Rupert Campbell spoke out against anti-Semitism in an address to the Jewish community at the annual ADL Summit in New York. “We recognize that we don’t always do everything right. We are not perfect, but in this case we know for sure that we made the right decision. Racist and anti-Semitic remarks by a former partner violated our values. We have taken steps to end the partnership. It took time, but we remain committed to our values”, — Campbell said. According to him, there is no place for anti-Semitism, racism and hatred either in sports, or in Adidas, or in society. "I want to say this loud and clear to everyone. We continue to support the Jewish community in the fight against anti-Semitism and all communities around the world that face injustice and discrimination”, & mdash; he added.
