Actor Alexander Filippenko on his departure from Russia: “Everything went according to plan”

Last November, Russian actor Alexander Filippenko quit his job at the Mossovet Theater and moved to Lithuania. His daughter, Alexandra Filippenko, has been living there for some time now.
Publications have already appeared in the media that the actor left Russia because of his political convictions. However, the Interfax agency claims that Filippenko's departure caused purely personal problems. As explained, the 78-year-old actor had heart problems for a long time, so he decided to take his health seriously.
