Accused of killing Elena Grinberg: it happened unintentionally

The Rishon LeZion District Court has extended the pre-trial detention of Jason Blaze, charged with the murder of Elena Greenberg last week, by eight days.

Blaze made his first appearance in court – after attempting suicide immediately after Greenberg's murder.

Blaise told the court, “It was unintentional.”

Blaze came to court after a psychiatric examination found him sane.

Blaze's lawyer , Abd Abu Amer stated: “The suspect does not deny the fact that he stabbed, but this was not planned. He came home – but he did not wash the bloodstains in the car and did not wash the bloody clothes. If he was planning a murder, he would have washed the car and washed his clothes”.
