Abu Akle's family demands a personal meeting with Biden

< p>

The family of murdered journalist Abu Akle demanded a personal meeting with US President Joe Biden during his visit to Israel. Relatives of the deceased accused him of allowing the United States to let Israel go unpunished for her murder.

A letter addressed to the American leader appeared on Twitter, in which the Abu Akle family claims that the Biden administration simply accepted the conclusions of the Israeli government regarding the journalist's death and did not ensure full accountability for her murder.

“Your administration's engagement helped to whitewash Shirin's murder and perpetuate impunity,” — says in the letter.
