About 2000 Bedouins are rioting in the Negev

About 2,000 Bedouins protest the Jewish National Fund's tree planting in the Negev. According to The Jerusalem Post, there are MPs from the United List among the protesters.

The protesters block Highways 31 and 70, throw stones at the police. Law enforcement officers use means to disperse the crowd.

Although agreements have been reached between government officials and Bedouins upon stopping landscaping, dozens of seedlings were uprooted. The Jewish National Fund reportedly filed a complaint with the police.

It is noted that tree planting ceased on Wednesday and was not carried out on Thursday.
