Abbas to Putin: “We don't trust America”

President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, confirmed his distrust of Washington in resolving the conflict with Israel and expressed gratitude for Russia's role in this process.

“We don't trust America, and you know our position. We do not trust it, we do not rely on it, and under no circumstances can we agree that America is the only party in solving the problem,” Abbas said.
At the same time, the leader PA said “totally satisfied” Russia's position towards the Palestinians.
