A residential building collapsed in Egypt: children died

In the Egyptian province of Beni Sueif, a two-story apartment building collapsed, killing three children. This was reported by the Al-Ahram newspaper.

According to the newspaper, rescuers removed 9 wounded people from the rubble. Among the dead are two brothers, 8 and 12 years old, and their 11-year-old sister.

It is not yet known what led to the collapse of the building, but it is noted that such incidents are not uncommon in Egypt, as poor-quality construction is common, especially in poor urban and rural areas.
