A 25-year-old resident of Beit Shemesh was arrested on suspicion of blackmailing, threatening and distributing nude photos of an ultra-Orthodox woman with whom he had a relationship through a dating app.
According to the suspicion, the applicant wanted to end the relationship, and in response, the ultra-Orthodox young man began to threaten her that he would distribute nude photos of her, and eventually distributed them.
The suspect, married and father of two, denied what was attributed to him, claimed that he does not know the applicant and that someone has stolen his data and is using it. The court extended his detention by three days and stated that there was reasonable suspicion linking him to the crimes.
