On Wednesday, July 13, a new variant of the Omicron strain was identified in the Netherlands. He received the name “centaur”. According to RIVM, we are talking about BA.2.75, a subvariant of the Omicron strain. Scientists suggest that it can bypass the vaccine more easily and is more contagious.
