 New explosion in Russia – an oil depot is on fire near Belgorod and a plant is damaged

A new explosion occurred in Borisovka, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, as a result of which an oil depot caught fire.

According to local media reports, the flame rises to 50 meters. The fire can be seen several kilometers away from the tank farm itself.

In addition, the capacities of the Borisov Bridge Metal Structure Plant, which produced metal structures for the construction of the Krymsky bridge, were seriously damaged.

Governor of the Belgorodskaya Vyacheslav Gladkov blamed the incident on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, in his words, “shelled the Borisovsky district.”

“The shells hit the territory of a civilian industrial plant. According to preliminary information, there were no victims: people managed to be taken to a safe distance. An operational headquarters has been formed. All emergency services went to the place”, & ndash; he wrote.
