A man in his 50s was shot dead in his car in Rakhaterano on Saturday morning.
Arrived at the scene Paramedics took the man to a local clinic with severe injuries, Channel 12 reports. He was later evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center, where he died from his wounds.
According to sources, Rushdi Albakhiri, a businessman and alleged the perpetrator, who was previously involved in the shooting.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident in the area. A search is underway for suspects. A police assessment of the situation was led by Negev District Attorney Nakhshon Nagler.
According to Ynet, Albakhiri — The 28th person killed in an Arab settlement in Israel this year.
