A group of Jews attacked in Lod. Police detained the group's guide

A group of yeshiva students from Mitzpe Ramon were attacked by Arabs in the Ramat Eshkol quarter in Lod on June 7.

Jews took refuge in the synagogue and called the police. The police rescued the students, but did not arrest any of the rioters.

The group's guide was arrested in the middle of the night. The rabbi of the yeshiva where students study was summoned for interrogation.

The guide was released on the morning of June 8, although the reasons for his detention remain unclear.
