Attorney driver drunk killed two teenagers, accused of a terrible accident their parents
While the attention of Ukrainians confined to a scandalous case Zaitseva, in the country there are other fatal accident, the perpetrators of which have not yet been punished.
One of such accidents occurred in Exactly 2 November 2018. Then the car hit two 16-year-olds: a guy and a girl. Behind the wheel was a drunken man who managed to drink more than one bottle of alcohol.
In the accident the girl died and the boy is still undergoing treatment. The driver was so drunk, I didn’t even notice, I moved the teenagers, and later simply fell asleep in the patrol car.
Yesterday the case was taken to the Rivne court. During the meeting the lawyer of a grief-the driver accused the relatives of the teenagers that they were dressed in dark clothing, which prevented his client to see Diana and Vlada Petruk Tarara on the side where he went.
The lawyer also complained to journalists that, in his opinion, one-sided coverage of the trial and prejudiced against his client. The defender believes that by doing so the media put pressure on the judge, the judge assured that it’s no pressure.
Yet the court has not yet issued a final verdict in this case.
Earlier, we reported that the victims in a deadly accident on a street Sumskaya in Kharkov in 2017 agreed that both suspects deserve to be punished for a period of 10 years in prison. About this informed the lawyer of the victims Larisa Matveeva on his page in Facebook.
“I coordinated this issue with the victims, whose interests are represented. Their opinion was reduced to that if it were possible to give Zaitseva life, and Dronovu 10 years, we’d talked about this, but according to the law 10 years — the maximum term for this article, so we asked for 10 years each, precisely because of the severity of the consequences, especially for my victims,” she said.
According to her, some victims still said that 10 years Dronovu a lot, but compared with 10 years Zaitseva didn’t mind none.
Recall Zaitsev brought to light in court.
