A fisherman drifted across the ocean for 11 days in a freezer

A fisherman from Brazil drifted for 11 days in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in a freezer and miraculously survived.

According to the Daily Mail, Romualdo Rodriguez, 44, was going to go fishing for several days in Ilet la Meri to her boat, but she suddenly sank. He decided to hide in the freezer. So he drifted through the waves for 11 days until he was rescued by fishermen.

Rodriguez was dehydrated and suffered from sunstroke. It turned out that he was carried 450 km from the place where he was going to fish.

Even after the rescue, the Brazilian had problems – in Paramaribo he was detained by the Surinamese police because he had no documents.

Only after 16 days behind bars, when the situation cleared up, he sent home.
