A car exploded in the center of Lod: there is a dead person

On the afternoon of February 15, a car exploded and caught fire in the center of Lod.

It happened on Mordei HaGetaot Street.

As a result of the incident, a 38-year-old resident of the city of Omer Shaaban, who was in a vehicle at the time of the explosion, died.

Rescuers and police arrived at the scene. An investigation has been launched into the explosion. According to Israeli media, among the versions under consideration is a suspicion of murder.
