40 years after the first attack: serial rapist uncovered

The serial rapist dubbed “The Bondi Beast” has been identified through DNA testing 40 years after his first attack.

According to The Mirror, Keith Simms committed his crimes from 1985 to 2001, during which time he attacked 31 women in the Bondi Beach area of Sydney.

At the time, investigators thought there might have been multiple perpetrators, but a breakthrough in the DNA has now revealed that Simms was responsible for every attack.

The rapist will not face justice because he died in February at the age of 66.
