An earthquake was recorded near Rijeka, the third largest port city in Croatia. The tremors occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at about 10:47 local time.

Experts note that tremors that are recorded at a shallow depth are felt stronger than those that – at a significant depth.
RaspberryShake estimated the earthquake at 4.8.

The residents of Rijeka will feel the tremors most actively. But slight fluctuations did not bypass a number of cities in Croatia. In particular, the capital of the country, Zagreb.
